Why do we need to appeal for funds?   Quite frankly, there is no other way to fund such a project over the long-term as local authorities and government departments have little or no spare cash for private projects like this one. We are trying to raise £1.32 million to cover the cost of purchasing, refurbishing and fit this brand-new Abbeyfield House in Bushey. Belmont Lodge, Bushey, Herts. We are all living longer and enjoy a good standard of living.
